Portable Clamping System - High Tensile Steel Construction

The Rutlands® portable clamping system delivers fast, powerful and hands-free clamping, exerting up to 1000kg of clamping force for rock-solid workholding. Not to be confused with the many imitations available, the Rutlands® clamping system has revisited and refined the original design, starting with a thicker, heavier gauge high tensile steel construction for unparallel strength and rigidity. A redesigned and reinforced ratchet mechanism ensures maximum clamping force with minimal effort, translating each foot pump of the pedal into a rapid high-torque squeeze. 

Whether sawing, sanding, drilling or planing, the clamping system provides the strength and versatility to secure anything from lengths of timber or pipes to doors, panels and larger projects, up to a total width of 1050mm. Protective urethane jaws ensure a secure, non-slip grip whilst eliminating damage to finished surfaces. A handy lock/release switch provides a fast release of the workpiece, minimising downtime. The wide central platform provides the perfect base for a worktop, allowing the system to double up as a portable workbench for machinery and power tools.

The wide footprint tripod leg design ensures excellent stability on uneven ground or challenging outdoor terrain, comfortably supporting loads of up to 300kg. The quick-release legs folds away in seconds to take up minimal storage space, and the integrated handle and wheels allow easily transportation to and from the workshop or van. ©
